Barrow Physiotherapy Virgin Active, is available to all Virgin Active members AND non members for the treatment of the following:


    • Back and Neck Pain/Pathology
    • Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation
    • Exercise Prescription and Strengthening programs
    • Post Operative Management and Rehabilitation
    • Headaches
    • Sinusitis
    • Woman's Health related problems
    • Aquatic therapy

      Treatments are 45 minutes in duration and Medical Aid rates will be charged. Barrow Physiotherapy will submit the patient's invoice to the medical aid on their behalf, however should the medical aid fail to settle the account, the outstanding invoice will become the responsibility of the patient to settle.

    Should the patient not be on a medical aid or should the patient not have reserve for physiotherapy on their medical aid package, payment will need to be made post treatment via credit card.

     

    Should you NOT be a Virgin Active member, please arrive at your physio appointment 15 minutes prior to the start time, as you will be required to fill out an attendance register at the main reception.

    Experience:

    Chané completed her community service at Philadelphia regional hospital in 2020.

    She pursued a career as Physiotherapist after being a Sports Journalist and experiencing how various athletes go form being injured on the field, to returning to the competitive sports environment with renewed love and grit for their sport.

     

    Interests:

    Chané is always up for a challenge.

    Her interests include traveling and learning about different cultures. She likes to spend her free time outdoors, enjoying activities such as jogging and hiking.

     

    Goals:

    Chané's goal as a physiotherapist is to always expand her knowledge regarding the profession, to make a difference and improve the quality of her patient's lives.

    Saskia completed her community service year at Rob Ferreira hospital in Nelspruit

    Achievements:

    • Awarded best student subject prize for 'Sports' in final year of Physiotherapy at University of Pretoria
    • Awarded Golden Key for academic excellence in first year of Physiotherapy

    • Attained advanced qualifications in AIDT modern dance

    • Competed in both national and international dancing championships

    • Awarded national dancing honours and district swimming colours by Redhill High School

    • Captaincy in swimming and dancing at Redhill High School
