Post Graduate Training:

Jessica completed her community service year at the Johannesburg General Hospital in 2003. Following this, she spent a year travelling and working in the USA, including working at the Vail Sports and Medical Centre. She returned home in 2005 to build her career as a therapist in South Africa.
Jessica worked at Pro-Physio, a sports and orthopaedic practice in the Sandton Medi-Clinic for several years before being offered ownership of this practice. Jessica continued to both treat patients and manage this practice from 2008 to 2012. Jessica is the co-founder along with Orthotist, David Berkowitz, of the Waterfall Sports and Rehabilitation Centre and the founder of Barrow Physiotherapy. Both opened in 2011 in the Waterfall City Hospital.
In 2012 Jessica successfully completed her SPT 1 - an accreditation in Orthopaedics, Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation (This accreditation includes a year of course work, practical and written exams).
Jessica has attended numerous weekend training courses and has travelled globally with her husband, Dr Michael Barrow, to attend Orthopaedic and Sports Injury Congresses.
Jessica further aspires to do her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy and continue specialising in Orthopaedics and Sports Injuries with a special interest in lower limb rehabilitation.

Chané is always up for a challenge.

Her interests include traveling and learning about different cultures. She likes to spend her free time outdoors, enjoying activities such as jogging and hiking.
